Jessica is a dynamic actress and writer that continues to show commitment, passion, and positivity in her work. A recent transplant to Los Angeles from Washington, DC, she has hit the ground running and constantly impresses those in the industry with her talent, ingenuity, and determination.
As an actress, Jessica has a wide range and emotional facility. Her specialty is playing strong, gritty, sexy, punk women: the “guy’s girl,” the girl all the guys want and all the girls want to be. She loves roles that touch on the darkest aspects of humanity. Some of her credits include "Susie-Q" in John Waters' Cry-Baby, where she got to work opposite Johnny Depp and Ricki Lake (1990), "Cynthia" in Forgotten Pills, opposite Larry Bishop (2008), "Sharon" in A Darker Reality, opposite Daniel Baldwin (2008), and "Alicia Galen" guest-starring opposite Nicholle & David Tom in CBS's Criminal Minds.
Jessica has an incredible writing talent that compliments her acting. In 2007, she authored 3 short films and 2 feature films. She also worked as a script consultant on 6 feature films, 1 short film, 1 play, and 1 graphic novel. By 2009, she hopes to start a production company and have at least one film in pre-production. Jessica believes that ensemble is critical in every project. She has a professional work ethic, takes direction well, and works with directors and other actors to create a cohesive, powerful story. Jessica has a keen business sense and utilizes this in all aspects of her professional and personal lives. Her mission in life is to positively touch lives through the art of film. Jessica currently resides in Los Angeles and is working on her film & television career. |
